Singapore is going to build a $226m dam across Marina Channel to offer rooftop view of area and space for recreation along the area enlarged. The dam which is 350m long, made of concrete and steel will be ready in two years' time is the culmination of a 20-year plan to create an urban reservoir. It not only add to Singapore's water supply but also check flooding in the city. Its going to be Singapore 15th reservoir. Water sports can be held at the Marina reservoir. Canoeing, Wakeboarding, F1 power boat racing and many others.

Cool huh? I din't know singapore have 14 reservoir. Its another place of interest to go to next time. I'm really sure the night view will be very fantastic. Enjoying the scenery and listening to the sea breeze. Simply wonderfully...
